Hobart Cenotaph

Hobart Cenotaph, also known as the Hobart War Memorial, stands overlooking the scenic and historic Regatta Grounds.

A feature of this area is a recently dedicated memorial to Tasmanias 13 Victoria Cross recipients which incorporates a unique sound-scape.

Very close to the Cenotaph is Derwent Bike Hire, in the Regatta Grounds, where bikes can be hired for durations of 1, 2 or 3 hours or for the day, offering a great way to get around the nearby Botanic Gardens and explore the historic and picturesque Battery Point and surrounding area.
